Young Talent Wanted for Singing Audition for Fall Season

Kids between 6 and 18 years old are welcome to audition for the Fall Season. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: No prior acting experience is required to participate. Monologue Selections: (Mandatory) Please select a monologue from the attachmet & prepare it with character/emotional emphasis, project your voice, & enunciate your words to be heard clearly. It should be memorized. Your selection does not have to be from a production that you are auditioning for. Any of the monologue selections provided will work. Please choose the one that best suits you. Vocal Auditions: (Optional) If you are auditioning for the holiday musical Jingle Bell Jukebox, please have a song prepared to sing acapella at your audition. Please choose a musical theatre or Disney song. Nursery rhymes or "Happy Birthday" are also acceptable. No pop or hip hop songs, please. You will have approximately up to 60 seconds to sing. Reminders: Depending on the time frame & number of students in your audition group, the Directors may cut your monologue and/or song short to be fair to the entire group. This does not reflect your performance or consideration to be in any of our productions. You will have the opportunity to perform your audition package (monologue & song selection) for at least 90 seconds up to 2 minutes.
