Child Actors Needed for "The Emperor's New Clothes"

Seeking child actors for “The Emperor's New Clothes.” Details are provided below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The heart of the story is about a foolish and arrogant Emperor whose character makes him susceptible to trickery by conniving thieves. He pays them large sums of money to prepare him the finest clothing. He pressures his couriers to agree with everything he says and does, lest they be found lacking and lose their jobs. At the end of the story, under the influence of the greedy thieves, the Emperor has succeeded in silencing all the adults in his realm, and it is only an innocent child who is capable of pointing out the truth, which is that the Emperor is actually parading around in nothing at all! (In our verison, that will mean some silly old fashioned underwear.) Additional info: The auditions are going to be different because of the nature of this show. The directors will not be auditioning actors for specific roles. Instead, looking to cast an ensemble of about 20 performers, 8 years old or older, who will work together collaboratively to invent the show. Rhythm, movement, creativity, expressiveness, imagination, kindness, and a collaborative spirit are what I am looking for. If you are interested please apply.
