"The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition" Seeks Kids

K-7th Graders are welcome to audition for "The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition" is a shortened, adapted version of the classic "Wizard of Oz" story specifically designed for young performers, following Dorothy and her dog Toto as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road in the Land of Oz to meet the Wizard, encountering characters like the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion along the way, while learning valuable lessons about friendship and self-discovery; Additional info: There is no preparation needed. Note: If cast, there will be a production fee applied per cast member. This fee will be used towards production expenses, including costumes, props, sets, tech and more. Even with this in place, it is the commitment and mission to provide access to the arts for EVERY kid. Payment plans will always be available and additional support can be granted on an as need basis. Rehearsals for the production will take place starting Monday, September 22nd and will be held weekly on Monday’s, Tuesdays, and Thursday's with occasional Saturday rehearsals as well.
