About the project: SYNOPSIS: In 1987, a young woman, Luda, leaves a movie theatre with her cinephile boyfriend Julian. They argue about the morality of the action heroes they see on screen. Luda says the so-called “good guys” are always doing bad things. Julian thinks it’s more complicated than that. The next day at work while helping with a children’s beauty pageant, Luda finds that right and wrong aren’t always so black and white when the parents of a young girl, Angie, leaves her alone in front of Luda. That night Luda and Julian walk into the movie theatre and she is shocked to see herself up on the silver screen. Rate: Reel, Food, Gas, Undying Appreciation.
