Casting Call for Children for Musical Production "Annie"
Children wanted for the musical production "Annie". See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: A Tiered Stipend will be given to all actors. Additional info: Annie will be performed Oct. 17-26, 2025. In person Callbacks (by invitation only): Actors may be asked to attend callbacks. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23rd Youth Dance Callbacks from 9:00am-10:30am Youth Actor/Singer Callbacks from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Adult Actor/Singer Callbacks from 2:30-4:00pm Adult Dance Callbacks from 4:00-5:00pm. All cast members must be comfortable being around a dog who will be backstage. Sandy the dog will be on a leash and crate when backstage. Actors should prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show using an (instrumental) backing track. Please include a dance/movement reel along with your submission. An unlisted YouTube link is preferred. If you are interested please apply.

Mezzo Soprano, Bright, Strong Belt, A3-D5 (the actor must be able to appear to be 11 years old), must be able to move. Annie is a complex, tough, streetwise urchin who is surprisingly vulnerable when she thinks she might lose what has become most important to her: her newfound "family." Seeking an excellent actress who can act motherly, independent, overwhelmed and hopeful. She should be strong vocally and musically and be able to light up the stage.
Soprano/mix to high G, Stage age 30-45: Grace Farrell is Oliver Warbucks's calm, cool and classy secretary. She appears business-like when dealing with Miss Hannigan and Warbucks, yet maternal toward Annie. Always appears "in control;" she is sophisticated, likable, sweet and confident.
Alto A to D, Stage age 35-60: Miss Hannigan is Desperate and unhappy with her lot in life, she is the alcoholic orphanage matron who is Annie's nemesis. Sings, "Little Girls" and "Easy Street" the role involves a very small amount of dance.
