Child Auditions for Musical Production "The SpongeBob". Find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. The ensemble auditions will include learning a dance combination, singing as a group, and acting as a group. All cast members must attend the ensemble audition. All students who enroll will be given a role that includes at least 1-3 speaking lines and 3 or more group musical numbers. If you want to be considered for a role that has a solo singing part, you must stay for the individual auditions. Individual auditions will be one student at a time. Please prepare 32 bars/no more than 1 minute of a musical theatre song of your choice. You may bring a device to play backing tracks or sing a cappella. Younger performers will be seen first. Once your performer finishes their individual audition they will either be immediately released or asked to stay for an acting callback. Acting callbacks will include reading sides with other performers to test for different roles. All auditions will be complete by 12:30pm.
