"Clue" Show Needs Teenagers
Trumann school district students in grades 8-12 are invited to audition for "Clue" Show. Please see the details below. Additional info: Auditions for Clue will be mostly line reading. Once you arrive at auditions, you will fill out your audition sheet if you did not bring a filled-out copy. (You do not have to bring one filled out; they will be available at auditions, but a copy is attached if you so choose to fill one out before you come.. Once completed, you will be taken back in groups of four or five to audition for the reading lines provided at auditions. You do not have to prepare a monologue! Just bring yourself and a list of conflicts. Rehearsals are MANDATORY. The Rehearsal Schedule is already finalized and is attached to the packet. Please understand, if you will be unable to attend two or more of the scheduled rehearsals for a given scene/role, you will not be cast in that scene/role; you will either be cast in a role for which you will be able to attend rehearsals, offered a backstage role which requires less rehearsal time, or will have the opportunity to audition for a future THS production. Once the show is cast, missing more than 3 unexcused absences (absences exceeding what was on your conflict sheet) may result in you being removed from your role. Excessive absence could lead to dismissal from the show and could potentially affect future casting. TECH WEEK REHEARSALS AND DRESS REHEARSALS ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT MANDATORY! IF YOU HAVE A CONFLICT WITH TECH AND DRESS REHERSALS IT COULD LEAD TO NOT BEING CAST IN THE SHOW. FAILURE TO BE AT A TECH OR DRESS REHEARSAL COULD LEAD TO DISMISSAL FROM THE SHOW. Please write out a list of conflicts and include the dates of the scheduled rehearsals that you will not be able to attend. If interested, please apply.
