23 roles
An innocent young girl. Around 10. Dressed as a Fairy Princess for Halloween. Scared to death of MONSTERS!
Her older cousin, dressed as a devil. A schemer. Leader of his group. Jimmy’s in charge of Hannah for the night and resents it.
A kid dressed as a black cat. Kind of a know-it-all.
Another kid, dressed as a rich baseball player in a cardboard SUV. Smart, imaginative, therefore, nobody ever knows what he’s talking about.
Yet another kid, dressed as a piece of candy. Not the brightest bulb of the bunch.
Half-witch/half fairy, all fun. Scary appears whenever Hannah is frightened to help her get over her fear. Scary is the Ambassador of all that is spooky, unusual, creepy, cool and fun in her realm: The Fright Side (like a lighthearted Nightmare Before Christmas). She can do it all: The Hostess with the ghost-est (Like a creepy Martha Stewart).
A skeleton who works in the closets of old houses, keeping their secrets and occasionally rattling around. Pettibone is Scary Godmother’s main advisor and confidant.
The giant monster who lives under the bed, basements, cracks and crevices, and spies on humanity. Bug-a-Boo knows all the things that scare us…But that’s just his day job. When he comes home, he’s a big lovable softy who likes children and puppies (mixed with a little lemon juice and cooked at 375 for an hour)…No, just kidding. He’s really nice.
A werewolf in sheep pajamas. The laziest lycanthrope the Fright Side has to offer. Harry’s five favorite things are food, television, food, comic books, and food. If there’s work to be done, Harry will find a way to avoid it.
Vampire King of the Night. Ancient bearing, pronounced nobility, old old OLD school charm, manners, and decorum. Max is so traditional he makes “old-fashioned” look like a “new-fangled fad.” Max is veddy happily married to Ruby and has a son, Orson.
Vampire Queen of the Night. An oh-so modern goth chick who loves to blow the dust off of some of the older vampire rules. Ruby is vivacious and out-going, where her husband, Max, is a bit of a coffin-body.
A 12 year-old vampire boy. Son of Max and Ruby. The Prince of Darkness and heir to the crown of the Undead, but basically a well-rounded, excitable kid.
Is a “lovable loser,” characterized as a person who frequently suffers, and as a result, lacks self-confidence.
Is a loyal, imaginative and good-natured beagle known for his “happy dance” and his numerous alter-egos. A non-speaking role — physicality and improv a must.
Is Linus’ older sister, characterized as a crabby, bossy and opinionated girl who bullies most other characters — particularly Linus and Charlie Brown.
Is Charlie Brown’s blanket-toting best friend and Lucy’s little brother and Sally’s love interest. Though young and insecure, he is very intelligent and wise, acting as the group’s philosopher.
Is Charlie Brown’s little sister who has a crush on Linus. The youngest of the group, she is adorable and spunky but often overreacts to situations.
Is a very talented musician, obsessed with Beethoven and Lucy’s love interest.
Is known for attracting dust, making him very filthy but with a good heart.
Is the girl who brags about her “naturally curly hair.” A total diva.
Is a jealous girl who likes bragging and, along with her friends Patty and Lucy, often teases and torments Charlie Brown.
(Not to be confused with Peppermint Patty) is a girl who thinks highly of herself. She joins in tormentin the hapless Charlie Brown.
Is very dry and complains he always gets cast as a shepherd in the play.
