"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" Seeks Teens

Young actors aged 11-18 years old are welcome to audition for "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: In this wickedly funny adaptation of Washington Irving's classic tale of superstition and village rivalry, gawky schoolmaster Ichabod Crane fancies himself a dashing, worldly man of learning, capable of winning the heart of Katrina Van Tassel. Will this beautiful daughter of a wealthy local farmer return Ichabod's affections, or does she have other ideas? What will be the outcome when Ichabod confronts his desires, fears, and of course, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow? Rate: All roles are volunteer and unpaid. Additional info: Please come at any time during the audition dates and times. The auditions will last about 30 minutes. There will be cold readings from the script. No prepared material is required. REHEARSAL INFORMATION: The first read through/parent meeting will be Thursday, August 28, 7-8:30 pm, and rehearsals begin Saturday, September 6. These will generally be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 pm and Saturdays, 3 - 4:30 pm. No absences allowed during tech rehearsals/performances (October 11-26, 2025).
