Seeking Talent for "God of Carnage" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting boys and girls ages 10+ for production of "God of Carnage". More details are below. About the play: When faced with conflict, children can often lash out. That’s what happens on the playground, when 11-year-olds Henry and Benjamin get into a fight. Wanting to set a good example for the children, their parents come together to discuss the incident, and try to settle things in a civilized manner. They try. But civility is just a word, and one that is quickly forgotten when you’re standing at the precipice, where the slightest breeze will send all tumbling down. And it’s looking pretty windy. Additional information: Audition location: downtown Kitchener. Your audition will likely take 15 minutes. Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues (each around two minutes in length) to perform, and will be given direction on one of them These monologues need not be memorized. Actors will also be given a text to cold read. Anticipate 2-3 rehearsals a week. The exact schedule will be based on actor availability. Mandatory Dates: Actors MUST be available for all performance dates (November 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, December 5, 6, 7) as well as tech week and the full dress rehearsals (November 15, 16, 17, 18).
