Young talent needed for singing audition for "Aladdin Jr." – see details below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The story you know and love has been given a magical make-over! Aladdin and his friends are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. RECT’s production of this YouthStage musical will be directed by RECT Managing Director, Allan Barlow. Joining him will be Lori Patterson as Musical Director, Ami Wilcox as Choreographer, and Judy Machal Barlow as Producer and Costumer. This Ragged Edge Production Team will bring years of musical theatre experience to the stage! Additional info: Performance Dates: November 14-16,2025 November 21-23, 2025 Fri & Sat Evenings @ 7pm Sun. Matinees @ 3pm - Please be prepared to sing a 16-bar cut of any Disney or Broadway song of your choosing. - Auditioners should bring recorded accompaniment music on their phone or other device. - NO ACAPELLA AUDITIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. - There is no need for a prepared monologue because you will be asked to read scenes and cuttings from the script of Disney, Aladdin, Jr. - Please wear comfortable shoes for dancing … no flip flops or crocs!
