Seeking child actors for "The Sound of Music" Production. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Liesl & Rolf, please bring one 32-bar cut from any golden age musical. Sides for reading will be provided at the audition. You may sing from the show if preferred. Louisa & Gretl, please bring one full song of your choice. Please also plan to sing "DO-RE-ME." You may sing from the show if preferred. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE & CALENDAR: One performance on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education. Child talent must be available for sporadic rehearsals starting October 9, 2025, with primary engagement running November 1-15, 2025. A tentative calendar will be available at auditions. If interested, please apply.
