About the project: A group of friends ventures into the woods for a carefree day at the lake - but something ancient and vengeful watches from the trees. Known to locals as The Compass Man, a supernatural killer with a hook for a hand and a cracked mask marked by a compass symbol, stalks them one by one. A throwback to ’80s slashers with modern terror, told entirely in the daylight. Rate: Non-paid (Credit, meals, footage for reel provided). Additional info: Shoot Location: Palestine, Texas.
