"Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" Play Seeks Boys and Girls
Seeking a dynamic cast of 15 to 22 performers ages 10 and up for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks, if needed, will be held Thursday, August 28 at 7:00pm Rehearsals will begin with a read-through on Thursday, September 4 and typically run Sunday afternoons and Monday and Thursday evenings. Evening rehearsals until 9:30pm will regularly be required on Mondays and Thursdays for youth performers. Efforts will be made to schedule youth work on Sundays but can't be guaranteed. Rehearsal will be held on Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day, October 13.

A precocious young girl, full of imagination and ready to be a queen. Her experiences in Wonderland show that the grown up world can be a confusing and treacherous place.
Alice’s older sister. She cares for Alice and is delighted by her imagination in spite of how much work it can cause. She acts as the audience surrogate and reflects the audience’s fascination and joy with watching Alice’s imagination.
The Queen Bee of the flowers.
The bottom of the pecking order and grumpy about it.
Always in a hurry and afraid of losing his job. Or his head.
The governess. Well meaning, but severe.
The counterpoint to the Black Queen. Good natured but daffy. Her memory works in reverse.
A social climber. Wants to be well liked by the Queen and anybody else in her good graces.
Not interested in ruling, but he is interested in making his wife happy, as hard as that may be.
Trapped by time and his own madness.
A mad scientist.
Mostly just sleepy with a bit of the munchies.
School boys who are trapped by their own reputations as bullies.
