Seeking Kids for Dance Audition in "Halloween Creepy Crawlies"

Call for children ages 10+ with 2 or more years of dance experience for "Halloween Creepy Crawlies". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A ghost (Mallory) wakes up in Candy Corn Valley with no recollection of getting there and needs to get back to her haunted house for Halloween! She meets Jake, a Jack O'Lantern, who tells her she should go to the Foggy Forest to ask the Ballerina Witches. From there Mallory encounters Ballerina Witches, the Cauldron of Truth, Modern Dancing Mummies, Jazzy Vampires and Tap Dancing Skeletons, all while learning the values of sharing and friendship. Additional info: This is a great opportunity for young dance students to participate in a performance opportunity with professional dancers! Rehearsals. on Fridays from 4:30 - 6pm at Dovetail Studios. August 8th Start (no rehearsal August 29th or September 19th.) Dress Rehearsal October 24th 4 -7pm at Chicago Danztheatre. Ensemble Performance October 25th at 2pm at Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble. When applying, please email with your dancer's name, age, years of training and confirm rehearsal + performance availability.
