Teen Ensemble Wanted for the Musical "Jagged Little Pill" – See Details Below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: With a book by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (“Juno,” “Jennifer’s Body,” “Lisa Frankenstein”), and music by Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard, “Jagged Little Pill” was inspired by the themes and emotions laid bare in Morissette’s album of the same name. In the story, the Healys appear to be a picture-perfect suburban family — but looks can be deceiving. When the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the status quo or facing harsh truths about themselves, their community, and the world around them. The musical features new arrangements of familiar songs such as “Ironic,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Uninvited,” and “You Learn.” Additional info: Callbacks will be Sept. 7; rehearsals start Sept. 22; performances are Nov. 14-23 Dance callbacks will be scheduled for Sunday, September 7.
