Young Talents Needed for a Romantic Tale Short Indie Film
The film is a short indie dramedy that needs 2 kids, a girl 5-6 and a boy, 2.5 - 3 and one parent will need to be on set for each child. Ideally we hope to get a sis-bro duo for their comfort and interaction, but not required. The girl has a few short lines to speak, the boy just sits in a stroller and a part when he runs in the cafe a bit. No real acting experience required but needs to be comfortable in front of a camera. As an indie film co-op we work free and the cast is non-paid. We are a professional, very experienced crew; part of a Bay Area indie film co-op; filming for the kids will be 1.5 days in So SF and (perhaps) Marin county. Shooting is late August, likely 8/30-31.

The girl is the daughter, 5 -6 , and speaks a few short lines and acts as the older sister to her bro, 2.5. They are with their mother in a coffee shop. The mom gets distracted in conversation with an older woman at their shared table so the girl needs to oversee her bro, but isn't happy about it. The boy has no speaking lines. This short film is a dramedy.
The boy is Teddy, the younger bro of 5-6 yr old girl; the story takes place in a coffee cafe where the kids are w/the mom who gets distracted in conversation with an older woman at their table so the kids get antsy. He has no speaking part, just sits in a stroller and at one point runs around the cafe (may not be filmed but said) Ideally would like a bro-sis duo if possible. This is a dramedy, short indie film.
