Teen Performers Needed for "Puffs" Show
Seeking talents ages 16 and up for "Puffs" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditioners aged 16 & 17 will need parental permission. Parents will need to check you in when you arrive for the audition. If they wish to stay, they will be asked to stay in the green room. Please prepare the audition monologues attached. The first portion of the audition will be performing one monologue of your choice. The second portion will involve improv games. The third portion will be for the audition sides. The production team will choose groupings for each side. You are not required to memorize the monologues or sides, but you may choose to do so. British/European accents are encouraged but not required! Wayne, Oliver, & Megan do not have an accent. Tech Week: November 3rd - November 13th Performance Dates: Friday, November 14th @ 7:30 PM Saturday, November 15th @ 7:30 PM Sunday, November 16th @ 2 PM Friday, November 21st @ 7:30 PM Saturday, November 22nd @ 7:30 PM Sunday, November 23rd @ 2 PM Strike: November 23rd, immediately following the closing performance. The hero. Totally uncool, but full of charm and heart. Likes comic books & video games, knows nothing about magic or this weird magic world he is now a part of. Best friends with Oliver and Megan.
One of the main trio. Incredibly smart and cerebral, he is a math wiz, and proud of it; lovingly a nerd from New Jersey. Real comic chops, incredibly appealing, and youthful.
One of the main trio. Begins the show with her only desire being to live up to her mother’s dark wizard reputation. Over time, her tough veneer begins to soften.
The narrator of the story. They guide us through our entire show. British accent. Must be a great storyteller, as they must keep the audience. Can be a bit of a know-it-all, but still relatable and appealing. Comedy & improv skills a must.
A Puff who lives in fear of death, because her entire family died. Sad, Gloomy. British accent
A flamboyant and happy Puff. British accent.
She goes to school here. Nice. British accent.
A very confident and self-obsessed Puff. Scottish or British accent.
A shy Puff who gets made fun of by the other houses and does not realize what is happening. British accent.
A Puff who grew up as an only child, has never seen other children until now and wants to be friends with everybody. British accent.
