Now Casting Child Performers for "Newsies" and "A Christmas Story" – See Details Below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: NEWSIES: Rehearsals begin September 19, 2025. Runs October 4 – November 1, 2025 A CHRISTMAS STORY: Rehearsals begin October 6, 2025. Runs November 15 – December 28, 2025. Rate: All youth roles are paid. Additional info: There will be a callback by invitation only on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 5:00 pm as well. All youth roles will be double-cast; each performer is responsible for approx. 4 shows per week. All youth performers must be 8-13 years old and between 4ft and 4ft 10 inches (48” – 58”).
