Singing role. Tenor. Strong mover. John (christened Jean Val by his theater-obsessed father) just wants to be a typical teenage boy. He grew up in a theater space hearing things like “project!” and “sharper!” or “smile, Jean!” but his deepest desire, much to his father’s chagrin, is to join a baseball team.
Non-singing role. Strong mover. Blake embodies everything that John wants to be. He is a talented baseball player, he’s cool, people love to be around him, and he always knows just what to say. Blake's family supports his dreams and always show up to his games cheering.
