"Pygmalion" Teen Audition for the Theater

About the project: The beloved musical, My Fair Lady, is based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion. In the play, Professor Henry Higgins, a phonetician, makes a bet that he can transform a Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, into a duchess by teaching her to speak like one. The play explores themes of social class, identity, and the power of language, culminating in Eliza's struggle for independence and self- respect after the transformation.
