"Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play" Needs Teens

Looking for high school age and up for "Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In a future where a catastrophic event has wiped out electricity and civilization, a group of survivors initially gathers to recall and perform "The Simpsons" episode "Cape Feare". Over time, these shared memories and pop culture references transform into the foundation of a new society, evolving into a hybrid of myth, ritual, and musical theater. Act 1 is set months post-event. Act 2 is set several years later. Act 3 is set 75 years after that. Additional info: Please prepare a monologue (~ 1 minute) and, if auditioning for a solo singing role, a chorus and verse from a desired song sung a cappella (not necessary for other roles). There is some singing in this show, but it is different than a typical musical. Not all characters sing, and those that do are not required to sing well - don't let singing deter you from auditioning! Performance dates are October 10-12, 17-19. If interested, please apply.
