Kids Needed for "Annie" Musical

Seeking talents ages 8 and up for "Annie" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the popular comic strip, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow." Additional info: Auditioners will sing a one-minute memorized cutting of a song that shows their singing range and acting ability. Please bring a karaoke or back-up track on your phone to auditions. Performers who sing acapella at auditions may not be considered for a lead. Performers will also learn a simple dance combination with their audition group to demonstrate their stage movement ability and stage presence. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition slot so we can begin each audition process on time. Rehearsals for Youth and Ensemble will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00. Leads will also rehearse on Wednesday evenings. Mandatory Dress Rehearsals are December 1, 2, and 3 at the Theater at the Fort, in Lawrence. Performances are December are at the Theater at the Fort December 4 - 7. Note that a fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
