Seeking performers ages 13-18 years old for Bringing Down the House". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Ever hear of a musical with no songs? You’re not alone — and that’s exactly what makes Bringing Down The House a hilarious, one-of-a-kind comedy! Jules, Sydney, and Elliot are a trio of rising musical theatre hopefuls, ready to wow Broadway investors with their brand-new show. They’ve rented a creaky old theater for six weeks of intense rehearsal — only to discover it’s being demolished… tomorrow! With no other options and zero time, they have just two hours to stage the entire musical before the wrecking ball swings. But every time a number is about to start, chaos strikes — from a fame-hungry child actor to confused protestors, a photo-op-seeking politician, and the clueless demolition crew! Will the show go on before the roof comes down? Additional info: Prepare a short comedic monologue or story (1–2 minutes). No singing required – but bring your best comic timing and character.
