About the project: "She Loves Me" is a romantic, witty, and heartfelt musical from the legendary songwriting team of Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof), based on the same story as You’ve Got Mail. Set in a 1930s European perfume shop, the show follows two feuding clerks who are unaware that they’re falling in love as anonymous pen pals. With gorgeous music, lovable characters, and plenty of charm, She Loves Me is a hidden gem that’s a joy to perform and a delight to watch. Additional info: What to Prepare: Selected portions of audition songs for each character are attached. Cold readings from the script may be part of the audition. Be prepared to learn a brief movement/dance combination. Looking For: Strong singers and actors of all experience levels.
