Seeking teens ages 13 and up for "Hadestown: Teen Edition" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "Hadestown: Teen Edition" a reimagined version of the Tony-winning musical created for young performers. This powerful folk opera follows the intertwined love stories of Orpheus & Eurydice and Hades & Persephone, set to a rich blend of American folk and New Orleans jazz. A haunting journey to the underworld, it explores the tension between industry and nature, doubt and faith, fear and love. Additional info: Please note majority of our rehearsals will take place at our West Scranton facility, and tech rehearsals/performances will take place at the theater within West Scranton Intermediate School. Performances: November 21 & 22 Rehearsals at YAC (1621 Washburn St, West Scranton). Performances at West Scranton Intermediate School Theater. This program is completely FREE to participate in - no tuition, no workshop fee - just talent, passion, and the opportunity to grow.
