Seeking Kids for "A Christmas Story: The Musical"
Looking for kids ages 8 and up for "A Christmas Story: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "A Christmas Story" is a play, often adapted from the beloved 1983 film, that tells the humorous story of Ralphie Parker's quest to get a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas in the 1940s. The play captures Ralphie's vivid imagination and his persistent attempts to convince everyone from his parents to Santa Claus that this is the perfect gift, despite the constant warning of "You'll shoot your eye out!". It features iconic scenes like the lamp shaped like a woman's leg, the tongue-on-a-flagpole incident, and the bunny suit, all set against the backdrop of a family dealing with an exploding furnace and neighborhood bullies. Additional info: Each auditionee should be prepared to sing approximately 3 minutes of an audition song preselected (see the attachment), along with a choreography piece.
