Description:

Kids entering 4th grade and up are needed for "Shrek the Musical" auditions. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song in a similar genre, and bring sheet music (marked with beginning and end points) in the key of your choice. An accompanist will be provided. Dress to move, as there will also be a dance audition. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. Rehearsals will start on Tuesday, August 26th. All subsequent rehearsals will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 7-10 pm, and Sunday afternoons from 1-5 pm. Performance dates are November 14th to November 16th, and November 21st to November 22nd at The Caruso Theater, 1801 Montgomery Rd., Deerfield. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, by invitation only. If interested, please apply.
