Casting Call for Boys and Girls for Upcoming Shows

Kids in grades 3-8 are welcome to audition for "First Day of School Again," and grades K-5 for "Frozen Kids". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Prepare a 30 sec-1 1-minute monologue AND a musical theater song. (No auditions using songs from Six, Hamilton, Wicked, Les Misérables, or Annie will be considered for lead roles.) If auditioning for Frozen Kids, you must also prepare a song (whole song) for a musical, with the exception of songs from: Frozen (any of the franchise,) Hamilton, Les Misérables, or Wicked. Rehearsals for performers for "First Day of School Again" will be Tuesdays, 5-6:30, and Saturdays from 12-2 pm, beginning August 10th. Tech Rehearsals will be September 23-25, 202,5, from 5:00-7:00 pm, performances will be September 26-28, 2025. You must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and ALL performances. Rehearsals for "Frozen Kids" will generally be Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-5 pm, beginning September 3rd, with the addition of Saturday, November 1, from 10 am-12 pm. Tech Week is November 10-14, 2025. Performances are November 15-16, 2025. You must be available for ALL tech week rehearsals and ALL performances. Students will be expected to bring their scripts, a pencil, and a water bottle to every rehearsal. Please have students eat PRIOR to rehearsal so that we can maximize our time together. Also, students will be required to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Please, no Crocs, slides, flip flops, or sandals, as they present safety issues. Cell phones will need to remain out of sight for the entirety of every rehearsal. Note that a participation fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
