What follows is a wildly absurd competition of over-the-top mourning, as each relative resorts to increasingly ridiculous and desperate displays of sorrow in a bid to win it all. Grief takes center stage in this comedy about how our emotions manifest in beautiful and absurd ways. "Grease for Greece" Synopsis: "Grease For Greece" follows the story of Magrico and Fakus as they plot to keep their secret, a secret. Long ago, they were both soldiers training to join the legio;n however, Magrico had different aspirations and wanted to be a cook. On the day of joining the legio,n Fakus was deemed too short, just barely, and was turned away. So Magrico plotted, and they switched lives. Magrico would act as Fakus to be a great cook, and Fakus would dress as a soldier to be the soldier he dreamed of being. Their arrangement worked out for a long time until Fakus was promoted to act under Magrico’s father, the Great Grecian Commander Polarch of Eretria. Fakus, who had been acting as Magrico, must figure out a way to keep Polarch from finding out about him and Magrico’s scheme; however, Magrico was commissioned, as Fakus, to cook a great feast for the king’s banquet. They both have to figure out how to keep everything under wraps, and craziness ensues. If interested, please apply.
