Singing Audition for "Annie JR." Production

Students ages 10-18 are invited to audition for "Annie JR." Production. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Annie Jr. follows the story of an orphan named Annie living a "hard-knock life" at The New York City Municipal Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie dreams of being reunited with her parents and takes action to find them. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Additional info: Students will explore acting and vocal techniques, collaborate as an ensemble, enjoy energetic musical theatre-style dance, and build the confidence to shine on stage! Regular rehearsals will be held on Thursdays from 4 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. There will also be a full day rehearsal on Saturday, September 27 and an afternoon rehearsal on Sunday, September 28. Final dress rehearsal October 2. Show dates are October 3-4. Note that a participation fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
