Asian Kids and Teens Needed for "Peace of Mine" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Casting two male actors ages 9+ for "Peace of Mine" film. More details are below. About the project: A dance film that follows a young, queer boy navigating a world that doesn't quite understand him. Rate: Non-Union. Unpaid, but demo reel material, photos, IMDB credit, a reference letter and food on set will be provided. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) August 13-15. (Filipino preferred but open to any south East Asian) - Queer and plus sized actors preferred - Sensitive, curious, expressive. A quiet observer of the world, he longs for connection but often feels out of place. He finds solace in dancing to his own beat, a language that allows him to be fully himself. Dancing experience not required but preferred. Must be comfortable in making bold and confident decisions and movement.
(Filipino preferred but open). Traditional, playful, bonded with each other — they don’t intentionally exclude their younger brother, but represent the “norm” he feels distant from. Must be comfortable with physical activity (e.g., playing basketball). Dance experience required.
