Seeking Teens for "The Sandbox" Play
Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to audition for "The Sandbox". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Beyond thrilled to bring to the stage another parody of a 90’s cult classic. This one has a giant Bull Mastiff Dog puppet that will be a larger-than-life character in itself. Additional info: PERFORMANCES: Will have 6 performances between August 14-24 at The Basile Theatre at the Athenaeum The show is 1hr long and we have 10 mins to load our show in and 10 minutes to load our show out each performance. Friday, August 15 6:30-7:30 Saturday, August 16 12:30-1:30 & 6:30-7:30 Sunday, August 17 3:30-4:30 Saturday, August 23 6:30-7:30 Sunday, August 24 3:30-4:30 Mandatory PARENT MEETING: Tuesday, July 8 6-6:30p REHEARSALS: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 6:00-9:00 pm starting Tuesday July 8th. There will be 2 Saturday Rehearsals 9a-12p July 26h & Aug 2nd TECH WEEK: August 8-10 (Times listed on the rehearsal schedule) There will also be a tech rehearsal at The Basile Theatre at Athenaeum the week before our first performance.
