Boys and girls are needed for the stage production of "Peter Pan." See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditions will mostly consist of different people reading the same ‘sides’. The director asks multiple people to read for the same character in order to see who fits that character best, and what actors work well together. All you need to worry about in this part is doing your best! This is the time to make big choices and show us how talented you are. You don’t need to sound like the characters from any Peter Pan movie, TV show, book, or play that you’ve seen before. Instead, focus on playing the part in a way that feels fun and right to you! Around 12. Warm and motherly, with a spirit for adventure. She is on the border of young adulthood and worries if she will like growing up. Remarkably adaptable, practical, and cheerful.
Around 10. He has a gallant air and a noble spirit, quite the young gentleman. This does not, however, dampen his love of adventure and battle- he has particular love of pirates, cowboys, and Vikings.
Part fairy, part boy. Peter Pan is a perpetual child, with all that entails, good and bad. Arrogant, noble, and imaginative, his chief goal at all times is to have fun and be free. He feels things very deeply, even if he cannot and will not admit it.
