Paid Feature Film "Miss American Vampire" Seeks Young Boys
NATIONWIDE CANADA CASTING! Casting two boys ages 11-14 for a feature film "Miss American Vampire". More details are below. Rate: Non union. Lead Roles - $300.00 per filming day (based on an 8hr day). All other roles - $260.00 per filming day (based on an 8hr day). Additional information: MEDIA: Feature - Intended for a Theatrical Release. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will take place prior to the start of the shoot (rehearsals are paid) SHOOT DATE: Tentative Outside Shoot Dates for feature: August 7- August 27, 2025. LEAD ROLE. INDIGENOUS Talent to look 11 yrs old. River is an imaginative, introspective, and sensitive child navigating a troubled home life. Growing up in a household plagued by domestic violence and his father's struggles with drug-induced schizophrenia, River clings to the innocence and wonder of childhood. His escapism comes from a rich inner world, expressed through play and storytelling.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Talent to look 11 yrs old. Omri is River’s loyal best friend, a practical and good-natured kid who provides a stabilizing presence in their shared adventures. Omri has a mischievous streak and a dry sense of humour that balances the group dynamic. He often serves as the voice of reason but is quick to follow River into trouble, valuing their friendship above all else. Tentatively filming for 5 days.
