About the project: "The Girl in the Mirror" Seventeen-year-old Susan, who has attempted suicide, lies in a coma. Her doctor says, "Whether she lives or dies now is a matter of her own will." What goes on in Susan's mind is the play, which invites the audience to deduce Susan's decision regarding life or death. Thoroughly researched, this play is both an enthralling theatrical event and the basis for a useful exploration of a tragic problem. Rate: All listed roles are available and this opportunity is unpaid, non-union, and non-equity. Additional info: Potential callback on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The show runs Friday, August 22, 2025 through Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 7:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:00 PM on Sundays with a public Preview Performance on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM. Casting will be done without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, pregnancy, national origin, disability or genetic information. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Although rehearsed monologues are not required, they are encouraged. Dress comfortably and be ready for movement.
