About the project: When Dorothy drops into the Land of Oz, only one thing is certain: she's got to find a way back to Kansas. A funny and fast-paced journey down the yellow brick road ensues, as Dorothy and her new friends travel to the fabled Emerald City to meet the Great Oz. When Oz demands a steep price for sending her home, a perilous new adventure begins. Full of ensemble possibilities, this imaginative adaptation captures the heart of L. Frank Baum's classic tale. Additional info: 06/28/2025 - 10am-1pm -- You are not required to stay for the entire time -- children may be free to leave once their audition is complete. (Further information will be sent out prior to the audition, including a form to sign up for specific audition timeslots.) All auditioning must have the following prepared: - A 20-30 second monologue to be performed for the production team - A printed headshot (Preferably 4x6 size). If a headshot is not provided, a member of the production staff will take a picture after the audition. 06/29/2025 - "Call Backs" 12 pm-2 pm -- Everyone is requested to attend the entire callback audition. All auditioning must have the following for call backs: - Closed-toed shoes (Jazz shoes or ballet flats if possible) - Comfortable and easy-to-move-in clothing.
