Child Auditions for Musical Production "Meet Me In St. Louis"

Talents between the ages of 10 and 18 are encouraged to audition for "Meet Me In St. Louis". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please be prepared to sing and read. READ-THROUGH: Mandatory; at our rehearsal space on August 21st from 4-7 pm. You must attend the read-through to accept your role; splitting time is allowed. REHEARSALS: Will run from August 25-November 6, 2025 (see the schedule for more detailed information). Missing more than three rehearsals for unexcused absences (i.e., not informing the directors of whereabouts) will result in the student’s role being given to an understudy or the removal of the student from the production. Students may split time with other activities/events up until the week of the show. MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is not a show that requires all roles to be at rehearsal every day. There will be plenty of "everybody" rehearsals, but there are roles available that do not require you to be there every single day. We would love to have lots of people involved, and it is okay if you have conflicts, as long as you know your stuff and inform us of your whereabouts ahead of time!! PHOTO DAYS: TBD WEEK OF THE SHOW: Rehearsals the week of the show are mandatory, and all students may not split time this week only. We will be running the show with full tech support this week. Tech Week is listed on the calendar. SHOW DATES: November 7-9, 2025 at 7 pm, 7 pm and 2 pm at THE MEMORIAL OPERA HOUSE in VALPARAISO, IN.
