About the project: Over the course of a long summer day at a suburban skatepark, a lonely and determined 10-year-old boy stumbles into a chaotic group of older skaters: yoda, chef, puma, bella, and snail. With only two days of experience, he's convinced he's destined for greatness and brushes off any attempt at friendship. But as he struggles to land even the simplest trick, he begins to uncover the group's troubled past and something deeper within himself. Rate: This is a NON-UNION and UNPAID short film. (Lead) Stubborn, small, confident Twig is a lonely kid who's only been skating for two days, but is convinced he's destined for greatness. He's mouthy, brave, and totally unaware of how much he wants to be accepted. When stumbling upon a suburban skatepark, he discovers a group of chaotic skaters who welcome him.
