About the project: You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)—a charming, heartfelt musical about finding joy, connection, and meaning in life’s small moments. Additional info: The directors will be asking for 32 bars from a musical that will showcase your vocal skills, and actors will be asked to read from the script. All auditioners will be considered for principal roles and ensemble. Any performers not cast in a main role may join the ensemble, performing in all 5 shows. Performance Schedule: Youth Cast – 2 performances, Oct 9th at 7 pm and Oct 11th at 2 pm. Ensemble – Featured in every show. Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (Bb2 – F4) The lovable underdog. Earnest, insecure, and endlessly hopeful. Carries emotional heart of the show. Strong acting and singing required.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano (G3 – F5) Bossy, bold, and a bit self-important—but lovable. Needs strong comedic timing and vocal confidence. Featured in several comic numbers.
Vocal Range: Baritone (A2 – E4) Philosophical, wise beyond his years, but still a kid who clings to his blanket. Warm voice and gentle presence ideal.
Vocal Range: Tenor (A2 – G4) Focused, passionate Beethoven fan. Straight man to Lucy’s antics. Needs vocal agility and confidence in ensemble moments.
Vocal Range: Soprano (B3 – G5) Charlie Brown’s little sister. Funny, quirky, full of personality and imagination. Big solo (“My New Philosophy”) requires great comic delivery.
Vocal Range: Tenor (C3 – A4) The iconic beagle—clever, wild, and theatrical. Needs physical comedy skills and a strong belt for the showstopper “Suppertime”.
