Casting Call for Boys and Girls for KidWorks Festival

Young performers are welcome to audition for the "KidWorks Festival". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: The shows will be "Charlotte's Web" and "Tuck Everlasting". Any school-age child over 5 years old who is ready to try out their acting skills is welcome! Principal roles are the main characters that will be on stage the most and have the most lines or music to memorize. Supporting roles don’t appear on stage as often but may have a scene on their own and move the story forward. There are also ensemble parts where groups of actors will perform together; they have fewer lines and do things as a group when acting, singing, or dancing. After auditions on Saturday, June 14th, the directors will notify the actors and get scripts to them to start perusing early in July. Actors need to start learning their lines before the rehearsals begin, since there is limited time. The cast will meet at the end of July for 9 days of rehearsal (2 hours each day). Rehearsals will begin Monday, July 21st- Friday, July 25th, and then Monday, July 28th- Thursday, July 31st. Performances will be on Friday, August 1st, and Saturday, August 2nd.
