Singing Audition for Musical "Elf"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking youth talent ages 8-15 for musical "Elf". See the details below. Additional information: REHEARSALS – from October 27 to November 17, 2025: Monday through Saturday – 10:00 am to 6:00pm. Youth Chorus can expect to be called to rehearse up to 20 hours/week during this time. The Youth Artist playing Michael may be required for more than 20 hours/week. ONSTAGE REHEARSALS – from November 18 to November 26, 2025: Intensive onstage technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and preview performances, Schedule varies but can potentially last from 12:00pm-11:59pm daily. RUN OF THE PLAY – from November 37 to December 28, 2023: Eight performances per week, Tuesday through Sunday – including evenings and/or matinees (some on school days). Please note that the performances between December 26-28 are potential ADDED performances, but we will require all Youth Artists to hold availability for those dates.

Youth Artists will be cast locally for this production. All Youth Artist applications must be submitted by a Parent or Legal Guardian.
Michael is Buddy's stepbrother, who is excited to have a new friend and brother. Unlike his mother, he doesn't take much convincing to have Christmas spirit, but like his mother, he wishes his father would spend more time with the family. Looking for an excellent actor/singer with an unchanged voice, who can handle a lot of text and emotional depth. Must be comfortable working primarily with the adult company.
Ten Youth Chorus members will portray kids and teens in New York City excited about Christmas. MUST be excellent trained dancers in both tap and jazz and comfortable singing and acting.
