Young Performers Needed for Upcoming Season
Seeking talents ages 7 and up for the upcoming Season. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF: These performers will receive a $280 travel/parking reimbursement stipend for the entire process. JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT: These performers will receive a $400 travel/parking reimbursement stipend for the entire process. A ROCKIN’ Midsummer Night’s Dream: These performers will receive a $240 travel/parking reimbursement stipend for the entire process. Additional info: Roles available in "Fiddler on the Roof", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and "A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream. Prepare a song of your choice, not to exceed 3 minutes. If you are interested in auditioning for "A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream", please prepare the Puck monologue attached in addition to a song. Vocal Range: B3-D5 Tevye's fourth eldest daughter who takes lessons at home from Perchik
Vocal Range: B3-D5 Tevye's youngest daughter. Takes lessons at home from Perchik.
In the ensemble, also potential suitors to Bielke and Shprintze.
This will be a group of 8-10 young performers who will be involved in all performances of the show.
Vocal Range: Treble voice, G3-E5 Also called Robin Goodfellow; a mischievous fairy who delights in playing pranks on mortals. Oberon’s servant. His antics are responsible for many of the complications that propel the story. Must have strong ability with classical language.
Vocal Range: Flexible An apprentice carpenter, chosen to play the lion in the craftsmen’s play for Theseus’s marriage celebration. Snug lacks confidence and worries that his/her roaring will frighten the ladies in the audience.
Vocal Range: Soprano, B3-E5 An ethereal spirit who is Puck’s friend and confidante. Must have strong classical language and strong singing.
Vocal Range: Flexible One of the fairies ordered by Titania to attend Bottom after Titania falls in love with him.
