About the project: "Fiddler on the Roof" tells the story of Tevye, a poor milkman in 1905 Russia, and his five daughters as they grapple with tradition, societal change, and the rising tide of anti-Semitism. Tevye struggles to balance his adherence to Jewish religious and cultural practices with his daughters' desires to marry for love, leading to a series of emotional and challenging events. The story culminates in the family's forced expulsion from their village, Anatevka, highlighting the broader context of persecution faced by Russian Jews at the time. Additional info: This will be a group audition, and you do not have to sign up. Just come out and have fun! Auditioners don’t need to prepare audition material.
