Urgent! Teen Actors Needed for "The Prom" Musical
"The Prom" musical needs a teen cast. See more info below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Prom is a musical comedy that follows four Broadway stars as they travel to a conservative Indiana town to help a lesbian high school student, Emma, attend prom with her girlfriend. Additional info: Please prepare a 32 Bar cut in the style of the show. For every role, the creative team will consider all submissions. Directors strongly encourage actors of all ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, body types, neurodiversities, and backgrounds to audition. They value and celebrate diversity in all forms and are committed to inclusive casting. Character descriptions indicate how a character may appear onstage in terms of age or gender, but do not require the performer to match those traits in real life. If you see yourself in a role, directors truly encourage you to audition. Please note that some roles involve moments of physical intimacy onstage. These will be handled thoughtfully and respectfully in collaboration with the cast. They're so excited to see your work and can't wait to create something meaningful together.
