"Queen of the Library" Teen Audition for the Theater
Auditions open for teens for the theater production of "Queen of the Library." See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Those auditioning should prepare and bring sheet music for a 1-2 minute long segment of song that shows off your singing voice; musical theatre songs are preferred. During your 10-minute audition time slot, you will be asked to sing your prepared song while a provided piano accompanist plays your sheet music. Additionally, you will read a few lines out of the script. For those who are cast, rehearsals will be held every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-8:30 pm, however, not every actor will be called to every rehearsal! The week prior to the performance rehearsal will be held July 28, 29, 30, and 31 from 6:00-10:00 pm. Performances will be held on August 1 at 6:00 pm and August 2, and 3 at 2:00 pm!
