About the project:
This special one-hour version is adapted from the Tony-nominated musical, which itself is inspired by the popular movie. The narrative centers around Ren McCormack, a teenager from the city who relocates to a small town where dancing is prohibited. Ren becomes a catalyst for change, rallying the community to reclaim their joy and freedom of expression.

Please be prepared to sing a minute of your favorite song! No need to bring piano music or a karaoke track, bring your wonderful voice!
Rehearsals start on Wednesday, June 25th. Weekly rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal. A finished schedule will be provided at casting.
Tech rehearsals will take place on Monday, September 1st; Wednesday, September 3rd; and Thursday, September 4th, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Not everyone will be required to attend each session. A finalized schedule will be distributed at the casting.
Before you sign up to audition, please make sure you do not have any conflicts during Tech Week or performances: September 1st - 7th.
