About the project: Winner of the 2024 Tony Award for Best Revival! The authors of the landmark musical Company reunite to turn the traditional showbiz musical on its head in this thrilling and compelling Broadway fable about friendship, compromise, and the high price of success. Starting in 1977 and told in reverse (ending in 1957), Sondheim and Furth expertly blend the excitement and energy of a backstage musical with a poignant and emotional contemporary story about the importance of staying true to one’s ideals. Rate: All actors are paid a $100 rehearsal stipend and $40 per performance. Additional info: Callbacks: Saturday, June 28th from 12:00 – 5:00 pm Prepare: 16-32 bars of a song that shows you off the best. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will generally be Mon, Tue, Thur evenings, and Saturday afternoons. Rehearsals begin for Merrily on August 2nd Performances: Merrily We Roll Along will run September 12th through October 19th Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, and Sundays at 2:30 There will be an Industry Night on Monday evening.
