About the project: In the aftermath of their best friend’s mysterious death by gun violence, two young men from the inner city grapple with grief in diverging ways—one becomes consumed by a quest for truth and vengeance, while the other risks everything to pursue his dreams beyond the streets. Supporting– He looks up to his older brother, Shareef, who serves as both a role model and a source of inspiration. Courageous! Resilient, despite being hard on himself. (Must be ok with a few curse words)
Supporting – Your typical teenager, disconnected at times due to teenage dramas and high school, but loves her family deeply.
Supporting – She is the unseen talent in the family. Loved by her parents and siblings. Deeply admires her father and brother (both barbers) which leads her to study their skills in silence before proving she got the skills to follow in their footsteps.
Day Player– Must be able to play a youth with autism.
Supporting – She works at the skate rental and always has the biggest attitude. She loves the perks of the job, but hates the actual job.
