"Beetlejuice JR." Show Needs Boys and Girls

The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium. Additional info: Students enrolled in grades 4 - 6 should sing the pre-selected songs under the “Ensemble Selections” section of this document. Students enrolled in 7 - 12 grade should sing 1 minute (or one verse and one chorus) of any song attached in the packet. Students not selected for a callback will be released at 7:30 pm. Students who are not called back will still be cast in the production. All students should be familiar with all songs from the productions they are auditioning for.
